Within the scope of World Intellectual Property Day on 26 April, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing the World Intellectual Property Day 2026 Youth Video Competition under the theme “Game Changers: Intellectual Property Empowering Innovation in Sports.”
As part of the competition, participants are expected to prepare a 60–90 second video addressing the role of intellectual property rights in innovation, creativity, and transformation in the field of sports.
Among the applicants, the top 20 videos will be published on the competition platform for online public voting, which will take place from 6 to 19 April 2026. Along with the top three videos selected by the jury, the winners of the competition will be announced on 26 April 2026, in celebration of World Intellectual Property Day.
The deadline for submission is 15 March 2026 (23:59 CET).
