The opening ceremony brought together Prof. Dr. M. In his opening remarks, President Durak highlighted the importance of intellectual property in developing, protecting and bringing green technologies to industry, while emphasising the role of geographical indications in local development and the value of international cooperation in promoting sustainable innovation.
The Conference also featured a keynote address by Mr. Yoshinari Oyama of WIPO on WIPO GREEN and its role in accelerating the green transition through innovation, intellectual property and collaboration.
Three thematic panels brought together experts from IP offices, international organisations, academia and the private sector to exchange views on patenting climate technologies, green branding and sustainability claims, and geographical indications as drivers of sustainable local economies.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all speakers, moderators, participants and partner organisations for their valuable contributions to the Conference and to strengthening international cooperation for a more sustainable future.
