TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK shared recent statistics on industrial property in Türkiye.
Organized in collaboration with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT), Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (İZÜ), and Balıkesir University (BAÜN), the 3rd International Symposium on Current Developments in Intellectual Property Law was held on May 16–17, 2025, at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.
The symposium addressed the protection of intellectual property rights in the digitalizing world and discussed recent developments in this field.
In his opening speech, TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK shared recent statistics on industrial property in Türkiye. He emphasized the importance of efforts to develop the industrial property ecosystem within universities and highlighted the significance of commercializing academic studies.
