President of TÜRKPATENT, Prof. Dr. Zeki DURAK, attended the 6th International Intellectual Property Seminar

President of TÜRKPATENT, Prof. Dr. Zeki DURAK, attended the 6th International Intellectual Property Seminar organized by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).

During the opening session of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Zeki DURAK delivered a speech in which he shared the latest data on Turkey’s industrial property field.

DURAK stated that, as of 2024, the number of domestic patent applications in Turkey exceeded 10,000 for the first time, and the number of active industrial property assets surpassed 2 million.

He also highlighted Turkey's position in global rankings, noting that the country ranks 12th in domestic patent applications, 6th in domestic trademark applications, and 2nd in domestic design applications.
