Afyon Sucuğu has been recorded as our 35th product with a geographical indication registered in the European Union.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR announced via his social media account that Afyon Sucuğu (Sausage) has been officially registered by the European Union.
KACIR stated that this was the second piece of good news related to Afyonkarahisar shared this week in terms of international geographical indication registration. He said, "Afyon Sucuğu has been recorded as our 35th product with a geographical indication registered in the European Union. We will continue to bring our country’s local values to a competitive and strong position in both national and international markets."
