Antep Fıstık Ezmesi (Peanut Paste) and Isparta Gülyağı (Rose Oil) were published in the Official Gazette on February 26, 2025, to be registered in the European Union (EU). After the completion of the three-month objection process, both products will be registered and protected in the EU.

Sharing on his social media account regarding the subject, Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT) President Prof. Dr. Zeki DURAK stated that efforts to protect and brand local values ​​in the international arena are ongoing. DURAK said, "We continue our efforts to brand our local values ​​internationally." 

DURAK stated that 30 of Türkiye's products have been registered in the EU, and that a total of 79 applications, 8 of which are in the announcement phase, are ongoing.
