Aydın Memecik Zeytini (Olives) became the 31st geographically indicated product registered in the European Union.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR said, "We continue to provide our producers with competitive power in international markets by protecting our local values at a global level." regarding Aydın Memecik Zeytini (Olives) receiving geographical indication registration from the European Union (EU).
KACIR shared a post on his social media account regarding the subject.
KACIR, who pointed out that Aydın Memecik Zeytini were the 31st product to receive geographical indication registration from the EU, said, "We continue to provide our producers with competitive power in international markets by protecting our local values at a global level. I hope it will be beneficial for our producers and our city."
