Bursa Şeftalisi became the 24th Geographical Indication Registered in the EU.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR announced that Bursa Şeftalisi (Peach) has been registered in European Union.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih KACIR announced that Bursa Şeftalisi, which was applied to the European Union by TÜRKPATENT within the scope of the International Geographical Indication Mobilization, has become the 24th geographical indication registered in the European Union.

Minister KACIR said in his post on the subject that “We continue to introduce our rich culture and unique flavours that come to life in the fertile lands of Anatolia to the world and to increase the brand value of our country.”
