A delegation headed by Mr. Hu WENHUI, Deputy Commissioner of CNIPA, visited TÜRKPATENT on June 17–18, 2025.

A delegation headed by Mr. Hu WENHUI, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), visited the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) on June 17–18, 2025. The delegation met with Dr. Mehmet DUYAR, Vice President of TÜRKPATENT, and his accompanying team.

During the visit, discussions were held to strengthen industrial property cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding renewed in 2024.

The meetings included exchanges of information and experiences on patent examination processes, industrial property statistics, administrative capacity, and digital infrastructure.

The CNIPA delegation also visited the Turkish Industrial Property Valuation, Engineering and Consultancy Services Inc. (TÜRKSMD) to gain insights into industrial property valuation processes. Additionally, they attended presentations at METU Technopark on academic entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and the commercialization of innovation.
