Intellectual Property Backed Financing Türkiye Report has been Launched
The "Intellectual Property Backed Financing Türkiye Report", prepared in cooperation with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), was introduced in an online launch event on December 13, 2024.
The event was attended by TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. Zeki DURAK and WIPO TDC Director Prof. Dr. Habip ASAN.
Speaking at the launch, TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. Zeki DURAK drew attention to the critical role of intellectual property rights in creating economic value.
The report includes information on the current situation in our country in the use of intellectual property as a financing tool and discusses in detail the role of intellectual property in SMEs' access to financing.
