The Intellectual Property Rights Event was held in Istanbul, in cooperation with TÜRKPATENT and INTA
The Intellectual Property Rights Event was held in Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse on July 3, 2024, in cooperation with TÜRKPATENT and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
TURKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK and INTA CEO Etienne SANZ DE ACEDO had a bilateral meeting before the event. Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to further the cooperation between the two institutions.
During his speech at the event, TURKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK stated that intellectual property rights are one of the leading fields under the National Technology Move of our country and that the resolution of disputes is as important as awareness and registration processes in this field.
Sector representatives, patent/trademark attorneys and intellectual property professionals attended the event, where TÜRKPATENT and INTA representatives and Judges shared their ideas and experiences as speakers. Topics on "Collection of Evidence and Protection Measures in Industrial Property Rights, Especially in Trademarks" and "Good Examples in Trademark Protection" were discussed during the sessions held within the scope of the event.
