Winning the GRAND PRIX award, the biggest award of the fair, with her invention of "Frangible polymer drug conjugates", Prof. Dr. Rana SANYAL received her award from our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.
ISIF'22 International Invention Fair, hosted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and organized in cooperation with the International Federation of Inventors' Association (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization, held at Samsun Çarşamba Airport between 30 August and 04 September 2022, within the part of TEKNOFEST KARADENIZ, has ended.
Winning the GRAND PRIX award, the biggest award of the fair, with her invention of "Frangible polymer drug conjugates", Prof. Dr. Rana SANYAL received her award from our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.
Each invention exhibited at ISIF'22 was evaluated separately by the international jury consisting of experts in their fields.
Besides TÜRKPATENT, WIPO and IFIA special awards, gold, silver and bronze medals were given to the participants who placed in the fair.
Cemil BAŞPINAR, Vice President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, who made evaluations about the fair, stated that the "International Invention Fair" was held for the third time within TEKNOFEST and reminded that as an institution, they take the products developed in Turkey under protection.
Starting that 277 inventions, 210 of which are domestic and 67 of which are foreign, were exhibited at the fair, BAŞPINAR said, " Our main goal in making this fair is to raise awareness about patent and intellectual property to our youth. Our youth and students who came to the fair, cluster together with the inventors, have the opportunity to consult with them and leave here with high motivation."
