Hosted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, the 8th of the "ISIF Istanbul International Invention Fair", organized in cooperation with the International Federation of Inventors' Association (IFIA), the World Intellectual Property Organization and the European Patent Office, will be held this year as part of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival.
It was done at the Atatürk airport. The opening of the Istanbul International Invention Fair, which took place between April 27 and May 1, was held with the participation of Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa VARANK. A total of 424 inventions, 286 of which were domestic and 138 foreign, from 22 countries were exhibited at the fair. In addition, representatives of 32 countries took part in the fair, along with investors and visitors from 8 countries.
As each year, the inventions of local and foreign participants competed in ISIF'23 this year as well. Inventions were evaluated separately by the international jury consisting of experts in their fields.
"ISIF'23 International Invention Fair Organization Awards" and "ISIF'23 International Invention Fair Special Awards" to the inventors selected among the inventions exhibited at the fair; It was given by Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Cemil BAŞPINAR, President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, and Antonio CAMPINOS, Head of the European Patent Office.
