A delegation led by SAIP CEO Dr. Abdulaziz AlSwailem met with TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK.
The CEO of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), Dr. Abdulaziz AlSwailem, and his accompanying delegation visited TÜRKPATENT on September 29–30, 2025, and met with TÜRKPATENT President Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current areas of cooperation between the two institutions, explored potential new fields of collaboration, and exchanged views on recent developments in the field of industrial property as well as best practices between institutions.
The delegation also visited Turkish Industrial Property Valuation and Engineering Inc. (TÜRKSMD) to receive information about its activities. In addition, representatives of the General Directorate of Customs delivered a presentation on customs practices regarding the protection of intellectual property rights.
