A delegation from the Official Receiver and Registrar’s Office, which is responsible for the registration of industrial property rights in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and operates under the TRNC Ministry of Economy and Energy, paid a visit to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT) between 16–18 February 2026.
During the meetings held with the delegation headed by Tuğşad TÜLBENTÇİ, Deputy Undersecretary of the TRNC Ministry of Economy and Energy, a comprehensive exchange of information and experience took place regarding TURKPATENT’s digital transformation vision.
Within the scope of the visit, discussions were also held with Prof. Dr. M. Zeki DURAK, President of TURKPATENT, focusing on evaluations aimed at enhancing the existing cooperation between the two institutions.
