"AIPPI World Congress", which will be held in Istanbul between 22 - 25 October 2023 by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), has started.
The Turkish Patent and Trademark Office President Prof. Dr. M.Zeki DURAK, WIPO Division for Transition and WIPO Developed Countries Director Prof. Dr. Habip ASAN and AIPPI President Shoichi OKUYAMA made speeches in the ceremony, at the opening of the congress.
More than two thousand members are participating in the congress, where issues related to international law in the field of intellectual property will be discussed for four days.
International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights (AIPPI), which operates as national groups in 66 countries, including Türkiye, has members in 131 countries and aims to bring together rights holders, academicians working in this field, judges and patent and trademark attorneys by making international and regional agreements to develop and promote the protection of intellectual property rights.
